Thank you from the entire team at the Essex HMVA Military and Flying machines 2017

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2017 Military and flying machines a success - we thought it ended up better than we expected for our first year at our new location - we'd especially like to thank David French the land owner, Cllr Henry Bass for opening the show, the Right Hon. John Whittingdale MP, Jeanette Stilts the Maldon Town Mayor, everyone at Maldon council, the Staff at Maldon and Burnham tourist offices and Essex district councils for all their support, assistance and for coming along to the show in some cases.

Most importantly, we'd like to thank ALL the people who came to see the show, some of which who travelled a particularly long distance to attend (including from Hong Kong, Germany, Belgium and further afield in the UK), the re-enactors, living history displays, exhibitors, stall holders and lastly all the volunteers who organise and run the show in their spare time for the Charity, without all of them this show would not exist.

The team is now taking a break for a while, but we will be back with news about the 2018 show as soon as we can be, please keep an eye on Facebook and on this website, and we'll announce details as soon as we can.
