On the weekend of 7th/8th August 2010 the sights and sounds of the past will again come alive again at the atmospheric Damyns Hall Aerodrome, Upminster, Essex when the vintage Aerodrome goes back in time with our annual show. Already planned; military vehicles, militaria collectors stalls and stalls for the family, vintage aircraft, flying displays, aircraft and helicopter rides, flour bombing competitions open to the public, re-enactment groups and more to come.

Damyns Hall Aerodrome, Aveley Road, Upminster, Essex. RM14 2TN is situated near the Essex/Kent border close to London, a few minutes drive within the M25. With the towns of Thurrock, Southend, Basildon, Upminster and Chelmsford nearby and easy access from the M25/A13/A127.

Camping: Camping is permitted from the Friday 14.00 hours. Only Military tents & Green tents with camo net will be allowed in the main display area.

(NB please do not duplicate the number of tents ie. if you are bringing 3 vehicles and 1 tent put 1 tent against only one of the vehicles.)

RULES AND CONDITIONS

(A) As this event is being held at a working Airfield the discharge of any pyrotechnic, smoke generator, firearm (blank or otherwise) without the specific permission of the organisers is strictly forbidden. Any contravention will result in the person(s)responsible being asked to leave the Site and the authorities informed.

(B) All civilian vehicles, including support vehicles must be removed from the display areas to a designated car park during public opening times (09.00hrs. and 17.00hrs.)

(C) We would point out that this is a family show and many entrants tell us that they like coming to the Essex MVT events because of the peaceful atmosphere. We therefore ask you to keep music etc. to a reasonable level, and turn off music and generators by 23.00hrs and consider other Entrants camping at the Event.

I declare that I have Third Party Motor vehicle insurance ( in accordance with  current Road Traffic Acts) in respect of the vehicle/s ( registered or non-registered for road use) entered for the show and that evidence of such cover - a certificate of  motor insurance - operative for the duration of the event will be required to gain access to the show/event site. ALSO: I/We agree to abide by the M.V.T. Code of Conduct and the conditions detailed on this form.
